Renee was born and raised on Nantucket Island. Growing up alongside the unique market that is Nantucket Island, she learned invaluable business and branding skills working for many local companies and industries. From there, Renee went to Bentley University where she was a four-year college athlete on the Bentley University Women's Soccer Team. She graduated with two majors in Marketing and Environmental Sustainability with a minor in Sports Business Management.
During her time in college, she began managing a handful of different businesses around Nantucket and Greater Boston, helping them with brand management, website design, email marketing, and social media. It was during this time where she realized this was her passion and honing in on these skills, she began building the foundation for Nantucket Island Marketing. Currently, she resides in Boston, splitting her time between the city and the island.

Marley grew up in the small town of Ipswich, MA, where she learned to appreciate the value and understand the importance of small businesses. Her love for creativity transferred to her college career at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where she earned a degree in Brand Strategy and Visual Advertising.
Through her experience in college and freelance work post-college, she focused on her passion for brand management and marketing. She's skilled in brand strategy, social media management, digital design, and website design. As much as she appreciates aesthetics, she also understands the significance of reaching an analytical target. Marley is eager to use her skills and help small businesses meet their marketing objectives!
Marketing and Acquisition Manager
Masey is from South Hamilton, Massachusetts where she grew up with her parents and three brothers. She graduated from Bryant University with a degree in Business Management and
started on the women’s basketball team there for four years. Masey has spent the last year managing a small business in Beverly, Massachusetts, which included executing its brand
strategies and running its social media accounts. Masey is a quick learner that is eager to understand and perform tasks such as visual advertisement and email marketing for different
target markets. Outside of work, Masey can be found playing basketball, fishing with her dad, going to the beach, and spending time with friends.
Kassie spent her elementary school years on Nantucket, MA, and moved to Duxbury, MA when she was 11. She attended Stonehill College, graduating with a marketing degree in 2016. Having worked in the Boston marketing space for 5 years, Kassie enjoys bringing real people’s stories to the media forefront in memorable ways. Outside of work, Kassie can be found skiing, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends outdoors.
Jocelyn is a recent graduate from the University of New Hampshire with her degree in Communication Business Applications. During her time at UNH, Jocelyn excelled in two marketing internships for small businesses where she developed various marketing skills including email marketing, social media, and website management. Jocelyn loves being creative and is passionate about growing small businesses. Outside of work, she loves to exercise, shop with friends, and make healthy recipes.
Full Stack Developer | Content Strategist
Originally from Cape Cod, Cassandra earned a degree in Applied Mathematics from UMass Amherst in 2019, choosing such a major due to her unpopular passion for math homework.
Along with her background in Mathematics, Cassandra is experienced in Graphic Design, Web Development, UX Design, Fashion Design, and traditional Studio Arts, as well as 10 years in the restaurant industry, all of which has created a diverse perspective and skillset that she brings to the world of marketing.
Evie is a graphic designer from Fairfield, CT. She graduated from James Madison University in 2019 (Go Dukes!) and has been working in the world of creative advertising ever since. She's a lover of typography and specializes in logo design and brand kits. Outside of designing, she loves skiing, reading, and fueling her coffee addiction.
Rhonni is a photographer from Ipswich, MA. She started photographer early in her high school career, and has had a passion and love for it ever since. She is working towards her degree in social media marketing while keeping up with her own photography brand, RWCaptured. She is pursuing her dream of working with brands to fulfill their photography goals for their small businesses. Rhonni is skilled in photo editing along with having a creative eye for the key details within products. She loves to create concepts for brand photoshoots.
Haley is a current Junior at Providence College studying Marketing with a minor in Studio Art. Haley was introduced to the Marketing world while working at IdeaVillage in summer 2020. She was able to learn more about marketing strategies, promotion, and product development. Haley has a background in website design, graphic design, photography, and recently created her own charcuterie board company, That Cheese Princess. She promoted the company through social media marketing and has been featured in magazines and a number of food blogs. Haley is so excited to bring her skills to the team and learn more about what it is like to market with small businesses.
Julia is a current student at Bentley University pursuing a degree in Marketing with a second major in Diversity and Society. She also has two minors in English and Management. Julia has had past experiences as a marketing intern working with small businesses, the healthcare industry, and the higher education industry. In these past internships, Julia developed her research, strategy, and content creation skills. Through these experiences, Julia found her passion and aspires to be a market research and brand strategist once she graduates.
Outside of work and school, Julia enjoys yoga, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family. One thing Julia is really passionate about is helping others and volunteer work. She believes that marketing is not only about using one’s voice to attract consumers but also about doing good and spreading positive messages into the world!
