There are so many small businesses I could spend hours talking about in the Boston area but I decided to pick the top 5 that come to mind for the must try businesses for someone new (or even a local) in the area! Check them out below!
Gibbet Hill Grill
This delicious restaurant does farm to table like no other. From the beautiful views (you need to take a walk up Gibbet Hill before your dinner reservation) to the amazing food, this place is at the top of my list for a romantic dinner or a great night catching up with friends. Nestled in the hills of Groton, MA this short drive from Boston is well worth it.
No Rest for Bridget
A Newbury Street Gem, this boutique women’s clothing store has essential, fun pieces for any wardrobe. From winter fun pieces to summer statements, it is on my to do list for every season of the year. Stop in and discover why its the cutest boutique in Boston!
Dao Tailor Alteration and Custom Design
Dao is the ultimate Tailor for men's and women's clothing. I have personally used her many times for a wide range of events and most importantly a dress for my brother's wedding. She completely transformed the piece to fit my body shape and got the groomsmen's pants hemmed perfectly. This small shop is sure to be your go to place after your first visit.
La Famiglia Giorgio's
A North End classic for an amazing Italian dinner in Boston. They have a wide range of plates for even the pickiest of eaters and are the perfect place to stop in for dinner and drinks. You must try their fresh pasta while you're there! This is definitely the place to go in the North End.
With working from home and more free time becoming the norm, there is no better time than to pick up a new book. Brookline book smith is the place to go to find your next greatest read or to learn a new hobby through a book. They have been in the industry since 1961 and are the best bookstore around!
